Orleans. & Hurricane Rita in Lake Charles.

June - August, 2005 Global Medical Rescue Services, Ltd. provides all medical and rescue support on
the ground in northern Pakistan for a combined National Geographic, National Science Foundation,
NASA, & University of Nebraska science-medical expedition. 28 team members received care as well as
instruction in expedition medicine and high altitude rescue. Over 800 people living in the area were treated.
Medical clinics for climbers and trekkers were conducted at K-2 Base Camp as well as several other
camps in this remote area of the Himalayas.
