make a good picture. As I held the camera up and looked through the viewfinder I realized that when
people looked at the this picture, they would only see a group of dirty, wet backpacks & helmets. They
just wouldn't get it! They wouldn't see what those packs represented, the team work, the trust, the
sweat and the mud and the water; the extreme stress of not wanting to f*** things up; the elation of
doing something right; the satisfaction of pulling a patient from an area you initially thought
impossible; the sensation of being covered head to toe in mud, soaking wet, bruised and scraped,
