School Elective & Rotation Credit

Tax Deductibility
School Elective & Rotation Credit - The majority of our programs
are supported by the University of Nebraska School of Medicine
(UNMC) and the University of Nebraska system for credit and/or
institutional support.
It is up to YOUR institution to accept credit
for these programs - ask them, not us!

For example, our Wilderness Medicine programs are catalogued
under
"FMED-750: International Health Rotation" and are
approved by UNMC for both required and elective rotation use for
medical students, resident physicians, and other health professions
students.

We have had health professions students and resident physicians
from over 60 graduate and undergraduate programs and 6 countries
participate in our programs as a part of their educational program.

Each school has it's own requirements, but we provide full
support for all students with applications, completion of
needed paperwork, evaluations & grades, and other specific
program requirements
.

We have
never had a program deny credit for our opportunities!

Continuing Medical/Educational Units CME/CEU's - The majority
of our programs, medical, rescue, and others, grant continuing
education hours, again as a function of UNMC and the greater
University system. The amount of these hours is variable, based on
the type of class, type of learning activities, and related matters. We
provide certificates stating the education hours earned for all
applicable programs.

Tax Deductibility - As these are professional education programs,
many participants can deduct some or in most cases all of their
tuition, travel, room & board, and related expenses in attending our
programs.  Please consult with your tax advisor regarding this.
